A Case fo Erythroplasia of Queyrat

Abstract
|
|
|
Erythroplasia of Queyrat is clinically and histologically identical to Boewn's disease of the glans penis.
We report a case of Erthroplasia of queyrat in a 51-year-old male patients who had a 2 months' history of erythematous patches on the glans penis and coronal sulcus. He was treated with topical application of 5% 5-fluorocuracil cream
twice
daily for one week and thereafter intermittently for a total of 7 weeks. Eight months aftr treatment, no skin lesions were found except mild erythema on the distal glans penis around urethral orifice. Rebiopsy specimen showed marked
improvement histologically.
